Dubai to buy

杜拜給我的聯想是石油、酋長、沙漠、駱駝、很臭的香水、全身包黑衣的女人、及杜拜塔。

這些東西這次杜拜行全都看到了，但是杜拜的購物中心更讓我印象深刻。集結全球知名品牌，感覺好像在美國。

美國是奉行資本主義最徹底的國家，杜拜就像被複製了一樣，甚至更上層樓。把本來覆蓋著沙礫的地方像施了魔術般，高樓大廈、七星級飯店、室內滑雪場、人工島。政府展現魄力與決心開發杜拜，至少七成以上是外來人口，可見不少人看好這裡的潛力。

只是我可能不適應，這裡怎麼就是少了一些人情味。

Money Rules?

Money can buy a lot of things both tangible or intangible. I always believe that there should be something that money can't buy, such as one's heart or believe.

But, I could be wrong. In this world, money has been the center of the attention. The rich get richer, and the poor get even more poor. Consequently, our society is dominated by only few with privilege and power. I can't image how this could affect our life?

Maybe, I am just too pessimistic.
